The need of the customer (QU.E.EN), company that produces renewable-sustainable energy, was to join in a single environment the ordinary office activities with an unexpected showroom whose features would serve to show clients the company’s power plants that are already installed and running.
The head quarter is located in an open space ex- warehouse with a barrel ceiling in the outskirts of Parma.
Once inside, the eye is immediately attracted by the decorative element of the project: two of the four walls that surround the double height space , are covered with panels in OSB wood (eco-friendly material) that represent the stylized silhouettes of trees, rising over the space to feature a dreamlike space. A clear recall of nature, as the key element of renewable energy sources.
The ground floor houses standard work spaces with desks and workstations while on the first floor an unexpected company showrooms is explored .
The space is occupied by a large circular desk and a curved wooden wall that houses four LED monitors. The innovative solution allows the company to show 24 hours a day the performances of the 24 energy plants to its customers.
The idea is translated and enhanced by a futuristic design, in a total white look, which communicates clean lines and purity, the key elements of renewable energy.
